The day isn’t far when Punjabi industry alone will be able to represent movie industry as a whole in India. The pace at which Punjabi movies are made, and the magic it spells over it’s audience is something that has been growing with every coming year. Which is exactly the reason why talent from across the globe has been looking to spread their wings in the Punjabi industry.
And the TV industry in no different. After actress like Surveen Chawla, Sargun Mehta and Lovey Sasan, who started their acting careers in television, made their name in the Punjabi industry; another popular TV name soon to set her mark in the Punjabi film industry.
If reports are to be believed, Sanjeeda Sheikh, a well known in the Television circuit, will star opposite Pollywood A-lister Amrinder Gill, in an upcoming flick ‘Ashke’.
Sanjeeda rose to fame with Kyaa Hoga Nimmo Kaa and played the role of Nimmo in 2005. Later, Sanjeeda became a household name as she played a grey character in Kayamath. Since then there has been no looking back for her.
Even though the details of the same are yet to be revealed, the film is set to be produced by Rhythm Boys Entertainment, A popular Pollywood production house which is known to cater to content driven and unique subjects in all their films.
The film will reportedly hit the theatres on 27 July 2018 through omjee group.
