Carry On Jatta 2 starring Gippy Grewal & Sonam Bjawa became the highest grossing Punjabi film of all time.
Released on 1st June, Carry On Jatta came back with a sequel after five years. Smeep Kang who directed the previous installment of Carry On Jatta series also directed this movie as well.
Smeep Kang brings up the original male cast Gippy Grewal, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Binu Dhillon, Jaswinder Bhalla, B.N. Sharma and Karamjit Anmol for this project. They all proved that they could make anybody laugh with this film.
Carry On Jatta 2 on its first day made a collection of Rs. 2.32 crore and in its first week it earned Rs. 15.91 crore which makes it the highest grossing film of all-time in the Punjabi film industry. The budget of the film was around Rs. 12 crores.
