It’s been more than a year since the admirers of Sidhu Moosewala still grieve and seek his justice. And in between all this emotional torment, fans receive good news that the makers of the Bollywood hit film, Andhadhun have now decided to produce a film based on Sidhu’s murder, Who Killed Moosewala?

While everyone is celebrating the decision, Sidhu’s mother lashes out at the news and says that people are using his death to earn money instead of genuinely seeking justice for him. She wrote, “It’s fake, the book writer didn’t inform the family, even though he didn’t have any rights. This is the real face of shameless people, who have time to seek justice for him, but they want to make a film on his life just to cash in on his fanbase.”

Constantly feeling the unbearable pain of losing a child, Sidhu’s mother Charan Kaur feels devastated to hear such news as the parents are still on the grounds of seeking justice for their son which has taken them nowhere. Despite all the love and respect the parents are receiving and the fame that their son has left them with, they are left all alone in the painful process.

The filmmakers said that they have acquired the rights to adapt the book into a movie, which will be directed by the famous director Sriram Raghavan.

The book, authored by crime journalist Jupinderjit Singh, explores the dark side of the Punjabi music industry and the tragic story of Sidhu Moosewala’s killing. It offers a spine-chilling account of crime, fame, and tragedy in the life of Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, famously known as Sidhu Moosewala.
