ex Miss India Deana Uppal is all set for her upcoming documentary as a director.

She was Winner of Miss India UK 2012 & Finalist in UK Big Boss – Big Brother.
She was one of the contestants in Khatron Ki Khaladi, & played the Lead role in movie Hard Kaur.
She is one of the Top Indian models in UK – Been in various tv commercials, fashion shows magazines.. Recently her three music videos have released directed by her only. So when it comes to ask why direction, Deana says she has always had a passion for working behind the camera and this was always the plan for her to progress to directing. She recently completed a Filmmaking diploma from London film academy.
Her latest music video is a punjabi song sung by zorawar and released by Whitehill productions. It has received positive feedback I the industry. Deana also runs her talent agency – DKU Management, where she also supply’s the dancers and models for the videos.
Deana was recently in jaipur for the shoot for her documentary on Banjara community which is is producing and directing. she is very excited for this new journey of her direction. she is being meeting with village people to know her life better to make things look more natural on screen. She is not that good in hindi so taking help from translator. kudos to her dedication.
The documentary is all about the lives of Banjara people. Deana said after jaipur , she plans to shoot in udaipur, Jodhpur & jaisalmer.
She feels that to make a documentary on Banjara people is completely a unique concept as people from all over the world will come to know about this community & get to see very unique style of living . She said the reason of making this documentary is know more about banjara community.
