After giving cinematic gems like Water, Fire, Earth and Midnight’s Children among others, Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Deepa Mehta is ready with her new offering Beeba Boys and the trailer of the film was unveiled today.
Based in Canada, the film is inspired by real life events and Hooda plays a gangster in it. Reportedly, his character is modeled on Bindy Johal, an organised crime leader, who operated in Canada in the late 80s and was killed in a nightclub in Vancouver.
The fast-paced trailer looks uber stylish with dapper gangsters, machine guns, blondes and lip locks. Randeep essays the the role of Jeet Johar, the leader of his menacing gang, and as always impresses with his acting prowess.
Beeba Boys stars Gulshan Grover,Sarah Allen, Waris Ahluwalia, Paul Gross, and Ali Momen along side Hooda.
