Tell us brief about shareek?

Shareek is story of two families, Cousion’s. Shareek is full of live. Shareek is a performance oriented movie. Each character of the movie has played significant role in movie.There is a journey of each
individual character. I m thankful to producers of movie Mr. Vivek Ohri & Mr. R.S. Gill to invest in such a
challenging subject.

Tell us about characterization of shareek

I want professional actors to justify the theme of shareek. Jimmy sheirgill was my first choice for movie & he justified with the role of ” Jassa ” in movie. He work so hard to present the character of Jassa as it was on paper. Mahie gill has played a pivotal role in movie. Audience will love Jassi on screen.After COJ audience will enjoy her brilliant on screen performance by Mahie.

Simar Gill who is a theater artist is debuting in movie with Oshin sai who is also a very fine actress. Combination of these both will create good chemistry on screen.

Other character artist’s like Guggu Gill, Mukul Dev, Kuljinder Sidhu, Prince Kanwaljit has also played memorable role on screen.

Shareek is not only a star based movie but first time technical crew has also played a vital role like Sham
Kaushal (Action Director) who was also associated with ” Singh v/s Kaur”, Punjabi rooted action is also a
part of screen-play.Dheeraj Rattan’s script with characterization will create magic on screen. Raju Singh (Background Score), Harmeet singh (DOP), who is my father, is associated with me in my previous films too. My co-ordination is with him is amazing.

Music of the shareek is situation based music. More can say shareek’s music is for all age group.

What next?

I have been signed by Chitrangada Singh’s production house to direct a Hindi film. As far as Punjabi films
go, I am working on two concepts.
