Another person was arrested from Haryana in the case of the shooting at Salman’s house

A person has been detained in Haryana in connection with the shooting outside the house of Bollywood actor Salman Khan in Mumbai. According to the report, the suspect was related to one of the two arrested accused and all were in constant contact before and after the incident. The arrested suspect is believed to have been taking instructions from Anmol Bishnoi, the younger brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, the official said. 

Anmol Bishnoi took responsibility for the incident in a social media post. On Tuesday, the police said that investigations have indicated the role of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang in employing the two arrested men.

Two suspects, 24-year-old Vicky Sahab Gupta and 21-year-old Sagar Srijoginder Pal, were arrested early Tuesday from Bhuj in Gujarat. The arrested accused hailed from Bihar and used to inform the detained suspects about their activities and make calls using the internet, the official said. After committing the crime, Pal and Gupta left Mumbai for Bhuj, while the accused changed the SIM card of the mobile phone they were using for communication near Surat, the official said.

According to the report, the arrested accused Paul and Gupta were paid around Rs 1 lakh to shoot at Salman’s house and were promised more money after the job.
