Executive producer of the film, Sumeet Aggarwal, said they would be in the Western Division for the next 30 days, shooting in locations between Rakiraki and Sigatoka.
“This is a Punjabi film from India and is about a taxidriver from Fiji who falls in love with a girl coming from India with a rich background,” said Aggarwal.
“The girl is coming to Fiji to marry her fiancé but meets the taxidriver and falls in love and the movie is basically about their journey. We have about 70 crew members coming from India and around 30 locals.”
Mr Aggarwal said they had the option to shoot in other countries but Fiji was their choice for obvious reasons.
“This is a romantic movie and Fiji, as a country, is very romantic and is one of the most beautiful locations we have ever seen. We have visited all the locations over the past few days and every one of us have fallen in love with the place.”
