People of Punjab recently celebrated and enjoyed the festival of Vaisakhi and now is the time for ‘Vaisakhi List’, a Punjabi film which is a tale of two friends who are planning to get back into the jail after escaping from it!It is a movie with an unusual title and of course an unusual story too. With Jimmy Sheirgill in lead role, the film stars Sunil Grover, Shruti Sodhi, Jaswinder Bhalla, Binnu Dhillon, Rana Ranbir, Nisha Bano and Karamjit Anmol.
This presentation of Amolak Singh Gakhal has been produced by Palwinder Singh Gakhal, Gurvinder Singh Gakhal and Iqbal Singh Gakhal. Smeep Kang has directed the film. The team of the film was in town for promotion today. The film is releasing this Friday i.e. 22nd April, Jimmy Sheirgill said, “In simple words this film is a delight, not only for the makers but also for the takers. When I heard the script I could not say no because it is so new and knew Smeep Kang will do wonders with his creativity. This is my first project with him and I am overwhelmed.”
Thanking Jimmy for that gesture, director Smeep Kang said, “It is my actors’ hard work and my whole team’s effort that we could make such a different film. I have been getting calls from different corners of the world and people are praising about the story even before watching the flick. I really adore that.”
Actress Shruti Sodhi considers herself a student of cinema and says in a humble tone that she feels great to be a part of this film. She said, “Everyone on the sets was so helpful to make me learn the new avenues of cinema as a whole. I thank the producers and the director for choosing for this film and make me perform my best.”
One of the producers Amolak Singh Gakhal said, “For us the most important part was to make an entertaining film with Smeep Kang as he is one of the best human beings you will ever meet. We wanted to have all shades of cinema, be it drama, action, emotion, romance or music and we are very hopeful that the audience will accept the hardwork put in by all the team members for making this amazing film.”
