Punjabi cinema now delivers experimental content that has taken the audience’s expectations for meaningful cinema to a higher level. Joining the queue, Ansh Productions, Farsight Studios, and Omjee Cine World are thrilled to announce the upcoming release of the Punjabi movie “Mansooba.” This film promises to be a captivating blend of drama, romance, and comedy, showcasing a special bond between a father and a son.

“Mansooba” is written and directed by renowned filmmaker Rana Ranbir, who is well known for his remarkably written and directed films like Asees and Posti, which play a vital role in showcasing the reality of society, which is usually neglected.

In the film Mansooba, as the trailer reveals some glimpses about the relationships and facts about the film, we see that a father and son share a special bond and that the son is ready to tolerate all kinds of mental and emotional behaviour of the father and loves him in every situation. But the movie seems to take a twist when the father demands to be killed, yes! You read it right. The father seems to have certain mental disturbances in his life; he wants to be dead but is not strong enough to kill himself.

With all the thoughts and certain turns of events, other characters, Sardar Sohi, Malkeet Rauni, Navdeep Singh, Manjit Dhillon, and Rajvir Boparai, play vital roles in the narrative in the movie, respectively, and will give us some reality-checking experiences that one or the other of the viewers might relate to.

Talking about the lead actor of the film, Navdeep Singh, the actor is going to make his debut with the film as the lead actor. From a theatre backdrop, Navdeep is expected to have some special qualities to express every genre of emotion, like romance, love, anger, etc., that will take this newcomer to a leading path in the upcoming years of Punjabi cinema.

The trailer for the film was shared recently and captured the audience’s attention as we see a special bond between a father and a son, wherein the boy plays the role of an ideal son who patiently tolerates every annoying silliness of his father. In all his childish behaviour, he has to face the most shocking demands of his father, who wants somebody to kill him.

But there are a couple of twists and turns and some obvious questions that will only be answered once the film is released on January 5, 2024, in your nearest theatres to narrate a compelling narrative that promises to captivate audiences.
