Model-turned-actress Sonam Bajwa is set to make her Tollywood debut soon. The Uttarakhand girl, who started her acting stint with the Punjabi film Best Of Luck and followed it up with the Tamil film Kappal, will be playing actor Sushanth’s love interest next, it is learnt.
“The makers were looking for a fresh face to cast opposite Sushanth. After auditioning several actors, the filmmakers zeroed in on Sonam,” says a source, adding that she has begun shooting for the film.
G Nageswara Reddy who directed Current Theega, is helming the project touted to be an entertainer.
Sonam Bajwa is also finalized for whitehill Productions next ” Sardaar Ji Returns ” opposite Diljit Dosanjh.
