Punjabi’s have been known worldwide for their immense contribution in every field they go to. Bringing this contribution further, Canada based radio station Sanjha Punjab Radio is now bringing Sanjha Punjab TV channel in Canada and Sanjha Punjab newspaper. On Monday, the launching ceremony took place at the Chandigarh Press Club, Sector-27 in the presence of Sanjha Punjab CEO Bob Dosanjh, President Baldeep Singh ‘Channi’, Country Head (India) Mohan Pathak and Admin Head (India) Ravneet Kaur. The list of special guests included Rajya Sabha MP Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa, S. Sohan Singh Thandal (Tourism & Cultural Affair Minister), S. Didar Singh Bhatti (Halka incharge Fatehgarh Sahib), S. Sharanjit Singh Dhillon (Agriculture Minister),S. Harcharan Singh Bains (Advisor National Affairs Media to Chief Minister of Punjab),Sh Amit Singla (CEO Radiant Textiles), S. Bhupinder Singh (Director Mata Gujri Sr. Sec. School), S Parminder Chauhan (CEO London Fashion) and actor B.N Sharma.
Sanjha Punjab is based in Ontario (Canada) and the existing radio channel has been successfully running from last 15 years. CEO Bob Dosanjh said, “We will broadcast music, news and interviews through our TV channel just like we have been doing through radio. Our 15-year old existence in the market has helped us create a niche. We aim at bringing people together who are away from their country of origin but inculcate a feeling of deep connection with their roots.”
The TV channel will show content 24X7 broadcasting the latest music videos, live performances of the Punjabi culture and inheritance. On the other hand, the Sanjha Punjab newspaper will be published and distributed weekly all throughout North America and also on the website and mobile app worldwide.
