Punjabi film ‘Sardaarji-2’ is hitting the screens soon and the lead actress Monica Gill is making much of headlines with her divine presence in this film. Just a newcomer in Punjabi industry, Monica has already taken the news by storm. She is being considered as the lucky charm of directors and producers as she has already appeared on two super-hit films ‘Ambarsariya’ and ‘Kaptaan’ opposite superstars Diljit Dosanjh and Gippy Grewal respectively.
Unlike every other female star of the industry, Monica is making good friends with industry people and sources tell she’s been the center of attraction while working on the sets. When asked about this she tells, “It is all about having the right attitude. If you maintain a positive vibe people will generally like to be around you. And I am a complete person, I hate being alone.”
A resident of USA, Monica was crowned Miss India USA in 2013 soon after which she moved to Mumbai in March 2014 following her father’s suggestion. Monica tells, “I didn’t have to struggle much. Soon after coming to Mumbai, I bagged the Miss India Worldwide title in June 2014 and then I met Tips chief Kumar Taurani who offered me ‘Ambarsariya’. I believe this was destiny and things happened with time.”
According to the directors and producers Monica’s dedication to her craft and professional working habits are paying off. She is one artist who is always on time.Her humbleness charms the whole set and crew and she treats everyone with dignity and respect.
