Ek Noor is a Punjabi biographical family drama, directed by the famous director,Mukesh Gautam. The movie was written and produced by Ranjit Kumar Chandra. The movie’s cast included Yami Gautam, Sudhanshu Pandey, Sudeepa Singh, Surilie Rhea Sandhu, and Rajendra Gupta as the lead characters. The movie also had Kamal Tiwari, Dolly Ahluwalia, Neeta Mohindra, Bharti Singh and Rana Ranbir, as the ancillary characters.
The basic plot of the film revolved around an ardent and sincere endeavor to bring across the moral message to the audience about the noble purpose of organ donation. This movie was a very simple and basic story of a visually impaired or a sand-blind orphaned girl, Rabia who was offered a better life when a young couple made a compos mentis decision of adopting her and she ultimately fills the lacuna in their monotonous lives. Then through a big twist of state of affairs,when the protagonist comes to know that she is going to die soon, she makes two salient decisions that would change Rabia’s and another young woman’s life forever.
