Synopsis : Qissa Panjab is a multi narrative contemporary film set in Punjab. It explores the lives of six young people, their hopes, aspirations and dreams. Arjun is a rich young boy into substance abuse and his only ambition is getting his next fix. Deep is a basketball player whose life suddenly puts him on a completely different path. Kismat is a struggling dancer who aspires to be a great actress one day. Speed is a petty thief who nurses a dream to migrate to Italy. Sukhjeet is a young orphan struggling to finish her studies. Heera is a singer who wants to make it big in the world of music. The lives of these six people cross each others in myriad twists and turns to an unexpected ending .
Movie Review : ” Qissa Panjab ” is a story of hopes, dreams and aspirations. What is happening in punjab these days ” Qissa Panjab ” reflects the actual scene of punjab.It`s a challenging subject but if we leave some flaws director Jatinder Mauhar handled this subject decently.
Performances : All characters have done excellent job in movie specially Jagjit Sandhu & Kul Sidhu.in 99 minutes movie each character has it`s own charm. Some situalional comedy scenes are rib ticking.
Music : Main stream is already on charts like Jinde Meriye by Nooran Sisters, Rog by Gurdas Maan
It`s a maiden venture by producer Annu bains hats off to her for investing in a burning subject.
Final Words : If you love to watch a different genre movie then ” Qissa Panjab ” is a perfect example of it.If you are going with your family then Keep in mind As this movie is released with ” A ” Certificate.
