PunjabiGrooves exclusive : Meet Manav Vij : The Performer

It is said that, The Two Most Powerful Warriors are Patience and Time, These two things actually
conquer all the things and the most powerful truth is that Everything Comes in Time To Those Who
Can Wait because Good Things Take Time to happen in anybody’s life. And all these statements goes
true for our Industry’s very humble, polite, talented and versatile actor and artist, Joydeep akka
Manav Vij.

Let’s know him a bit. Well, to start with, Manav hails from a city called Ferozpur in Punjab. He
finished his education from Punjab and attained the salutation of Dr. with his name in Psychiatry
from Ludhiana. It is so rightly said that it is your destiny only which will decide your fate and same
happened with him as his destiny wanted him to become an actor and above all this tinsel town
attracts everyone to be a part of it, so it did with Manav. And he got his first break in, Shaheed-E-
Aazam in the character of Sukhdev. After this thing started happening with him and he got to work
in serials like, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Mitwa Phool Kamal Ke and Kis Desh Main Hai Mera Dil.
Lets know about his filmi career. We have seen him in N Number of movie as of now. The list is quite
big. We started seeing him in Punjabi Movies like, Asan Nu Maan Watna Da, Mannat, Mini Punjab,
Apni Boli Apna Des, Mummy Punjabi, Burraahh, Sikander, Dil Vil Pyar Vyar, Punjab 1984 and Bhalwan
Singh and few big Hindi Movies like, Udta Punjab, Rangoon, Phillauri, Naam Shabana, Lucknow
Central and Indu Sarkar n Brij Mohan Amar Rahe. He is acting since year 2002 and now its 2017. This
time frame shows that how hard working he is. I can say that I was not wrong when I said that Time
and Patience pays back nicely and I am sure they have paid him back nicely with the kind of roles
which he has done and which he will be doing in future, because he actually leaves a mark behind in
every film that he does.

One conversation with him of around 15mts made me sure that he is going to do something big in
both the industries, Hindi as well Punjabi both. He carries load of humbleness, subtleness in his
communication, his behaviour and of course his attitude too.
Will sum it up here telling you all, that he wants to a role of Adolf Hitler one day and I am sure we
will see him in this character soon.
We wish him luck for his future endeavours.
