    The above quote had inspired many lives resulting a comeback of good cinema from past two years especially in Punjabi industry. “Harjeeta” a film based on the biopic of Harjeet Singh Tuli, the Indian hockey international champion who worked really hard to reach his goal. The film was penned down by Jagdeep Sidhu who recently directed Shadaa featuring Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru Bajwa. The film was directed by Vijay Kumar Arora and was made under the banner of Sizzelin Productions and Malika Productions association with Omjee Group and Villagers Film Studio. The film was released on 18th May 2018 and was worldwide distributed by Omjee Group.

    Harjeeta was an inspiring film which boosted many youngsters of Punjab towards sports. Holding so many positive facts, the film recently received the best film award in the ceremony of National Film Awards 2019. The moment had occurred after four years when earlier Diljit Dosanjh’s Punjab 1984 won this title and everyone related to the industry is celebrating it proudly. Well, why not?

    The film was starring Ammy Virk, Sawan Roopowali, Pankaj Tripathi and Raj Singh Jhinger in the main lead. Ammy Virk also revealed during his shoot for Harjeeta that he had to shred his weight in a major amount for the film.

    Sameep Singh has won the title of best child artist for his debut movie ‘Harjeeta’. The interesting fact is, ‘Harjeeta’ has also bagged the title of Best Punjabi Film in the same awards today.
