Our very own Jagjeet Sandhu to share screen with Mahesh Manjrekar in Taxi No. 24, he said ” it’s proud moment to work with an actor like “Mahesh ji”.
An upcoming large-short format,director Saumitra Singh’s movie “Taxi No 24”,a psychological thriller is all set to star Mahesh Manjrekar and Anangsha Biswas. It also features Jagjeet Sandhu,a brilliant Punjabi actor.
Jagjeet Sandhu rose to limelight with the movie ‘Rupinder Gandhi’ in 2015. Later on,he played the character “Romi Gill” in Dakuaan Da Munda and then “Tarsem” In Sufna which is considered his best role till date. Then, he worked in Anushka Sharma’s web series ‘Paatal Lok’ which was awarded as the best Hindi Film/Series of 2020. He was also a part of the web series ‘Leila’.
Talking about the movie, “Taxi No. 24”, it is expected to go on floors later this month, the makers said in a press release.
“Taxi No 24” recounts the story of a young man, who boards the cab of a driver paranoid with the news that a serial killer is set loose in Mumbai.
The story is written by Abhiraj Sharma. Singh, who unveiled the first look of this film, said that he couldn’t resist bringing to life this “fast-paced” story.
Saviraj Shetty, who is producing the film through the banner Whatever Productions, mentioned that he is looking forward to work with the dynamic and zestful team of “Taxi no 24”. “I am super excited to have on-boarded such a great cast which further makes the journey and experience of filmmaking enriching. I can’t wait to get the project on the floor,” he added.
This film also stars Girish Sharma, Rajat Arora,Tushar Rungta,Shalini Chauhan, Amisha Sinha and Ankita Sahu.
Hasan Khan will succor as an executive producer.
