Diljit Singh Dosanjh, a very popular actor and singer has just announced a new movie on his social media, which will be releasing in 2021 named ‘Ranna ch Dhanna’. The movie’s name is based on a very famous Punjabi proverb and while searching about the proverb, we found a book named ‘Ranna vich Dhanna’ written by Kushwant Singh, so this movie might be inspired by this book but it is not confirmed yet. So, we’ll have to wait for the official announcement.
Diljit, who has done brilliant work movies like ‘Jatt and Juliet’ , ‘Shadaa’, ‘Sardar ji’, ‘Good Newwz’ (which also featured very popular, Akshay Kumar),etc. is known for his comedy flavored movies and the videos he posts on his social media. We will also get to see such humour in this upcoming movie as his caption suggests, “RELAX & Fasten your Seat belts…It’s going to be a Bumpy LOL Ride.”
Obviously, this movie has Diljit Singh Dosanjh in the lead role. Till now, there’s no information about the complete starcast.
This movie is written and is being directed by Amarjit Singh Saron, who has previously directed movies like ‘Kala Shah Kala’ and ‘Jhalle’. This film, coming on the screens next year will be released under the banner of Story Time Productions.
Diljit, in his announcement post has also asked the audience to “Guess what Dhanna is doing in Runna”.
