Omjee, a leading film Production and Distribution house is a well known name in the industry! And they recently added one more achievement in their list. In the year 2019, 3 films distributed by them, namely; Shadaa, Ardaas Karaan and Chal Mera Putt, all released in a span of 5 weeks completed 50 days in cinemas. This has happened for the first time in Punjabi Cinema and is a remarkable record.This is also an indicator of the dedicated work done by the company to take Punjabi Cinema to a global level!
While talking to Mr. Munish Sahni, owner of Omjee, he said that he would like to thank the audience who loves Punjabi Cinema and has contributed in the growth of the industry. He says that there are many new records to be created and he is motivated to take Punjabi Cinema to new heights and looks forward to entertaining the audience with diverse films.
Due to Noble coronavirus outbreak in march 2020. many punjabi film releases like Posti, Galwakdi, GolGappe & Jodi etc are on hold. As on positive node OSS saying as situation will allow cinemas to open we will be right back to entertain audience.
