The new Inter-State Bus Terminus (ISBT) may have attracted many controversies due to delays in its completion but now it has caught the attention of Bollywood director Mahesh Bhatt due to its location and design. Bhatt will shoot some scenes of his upcoming Punjabi film Dushman, based on India and Pakistan relations, at the ISBT. The shooting will begin on Monday evening.

According to officials of C and C Constructions, the company which is constructing the ISBT, the shooting will begin at 7 pm on Monday. A production team has already arrived at the ISBT and made all the prior arrangements. Bhatt along with the star cast of the movie, including Gulshan Grover, Jashan, Kartar Cheema and Sakshi, will arrive in the city on Monday.

The roads leading towards the ISBT — no bus plies from here as of now — were given a new look ahead of the shooting. However, it is not sure whether ISBT will be shown as a bus stand or any other destination. Officials of the company said that not many changes were made at the location and the main hoarding mentioning the name of the ISBT was also not removed. The flags of many countries, including Malaysia and Thailand, have been installed outside the bus stand.

The film is already in the news as it is based on a love story between an Indian and a Pakistani. Apart from India, the film will be shot in Pakistan and Britain. This is the first Punjabi movie which Bhatt is directing with his colleague Shagufta Rafique, who is the writer of the film.

In the past, police stations of Mohali have been shooting locations of many Punjabi movies. Jatt and Juliet 2 of Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru Bajwa was shot at Phase VIII police station two years ago.
