Movie Review : “GELO” is the adaption of Ram Sarup Ankhi’s Novel ” GELO “, Jaspinder Cheema in role of ‘gelo’ didn`t justify with the character she has played in movie. Her acting & expressions are ok, but in movie like ” GELO ‘ you have to do some different like ‘ Meenakshi Seshadri ‘ has done in ‘ DAMINI ‘. his co actor who is now his husband in real life has short role in movie, he has done decent job.
Two main characters in movie after Gelo named ‘ Dilavar Sidhu ‘ & ‘ Pavan Raj Malhotra ‘ could do far better to lift the movie, It depends on director how he wants to take performance from their actors.
Other characters like Aditya Tarnach & Raj Dhaliwal are strictly ok
Screenplay : Main problem of the movie is it`s screenplay, It should be like this, audience should attach the movie till end.There are so many scenes in movie which could be unforgettable but unfortunately it didn`t.
Music : Music of the movie is strictly ok. Background music by salil amrute somehow lifts the movie to higher level.
Costume Designer`s work is appreciable.
Final Words : Gelo could be a masterpiece but poor screenplay ruins the show.
