Watch or Not? In over more than two hours, the film manages to to patch up its hovels and vindicate the negatives quite effortlessly. Goes without saying that Amberdeep quite succeeds in sending us home with many heartfelt laughs and an extensively enjoyable time.

Amrinder Gill what an fine actor he his, for him acting is like a most common thing like to eat, sleep etc.As bhangra love he is awesome, his chemistry with sanjeeda shiekh & Roopi Gill is a treat to watch. Amrinder is genuinely flawless in this role.
Two new female debuts in punjabi cinema with ‘ASHKE’ first is ‘Sanjeeda Shiekh’ & ‘Roopi Gill’, fine performances by both of them. Sanjeeda steals the show with her on screen acting & expressions. Altough Roopi also has delivered commendable job.
Another fine performance is by Avy Randhawa (As Amrinder’s Sister) & Vanadana Chopra (as principal)
Hardeep Gill in role of Amrinder Gill has showed his acting skills.Jaswinder Bhalla in role of bhangra coach will make laugh on your face as well as love for bhangra.
Direction, Editing and Screenplay :
Ashke, directed by Amberdeep Singh and penned by Dheeraj Rattan.
Dheeraj Rattan’s story has something fresh, you will remind your college days, about that times love story (if you have) & BHANGRA. Our punjab is know for bhangra all over world, while watching movie you will feel proud when beats of dhol on background will give you goosebumps.
Dialogues by Dheeraj (also screenplay) & Amberdeep are so straight which will directly touch your heart, Specially the scene between Amrinder & his Sister will make wet your eyes.
Now comes to direction, Amberdeep Singh as a director will keep u on screen engaged after Lahoriye too.He handled this very simple script with his command over direction.The film is filled with many fine emotional, funny and dramatic sequences.
Music & Background :
The film has good music like “Handsome Jatta”, “Leekan” & Traditional Bolliyan. Background by Gurcharan wil force you to take your step up specially in dhol beats which are frequently used in movie.
Overall, Ashke is a film which you should watch with your family, specially for children they should aware about bhangra, which is now not an unknown term in any part of world.
