Star Performances : Mahie Gill played the character of ‘ Veeran ‘ who is hockey coach, what an fine performance by her & What an fine actress she is..Marvellous..!! her romance with Roshan Prince is a treat to watch & her fear from Ravinder is another class of her act. She will also steal your heart by her dance moves.
Now comes to main lead Roshan Prince played the character of boxer, who later becomes a police officer. He worked so hard for this role, you will see his work hard while he comes on screen. He has capability to do any kind of role. What an versatile actor he is..indeed..!!
Ravinder. who is debuting in punjabi cinema with this movie, has shown good acting skills in his negative role as wrestler & one sided lover. His screen presence is very impressive.
Tanya Abrol in role of Roshan’s sister is naughty & cute.
In supporting roles B.N. Sharma & Kulbushan Kharbanda are decent
Screenplay & Direction : Screenplay is bit stretched. In some scenes you will feel like you are seeing a bollywood movie.
Amit Subash Dhawan who is director of the movie & also played a role of police training head in movie. His style of story telling is good. To make a movie on a subject like ‘ AI ‘ is a big task specially in regional cinema. Full points to director for the splendid effort.
Music : R. Sheen’s music is melodious. Specially ‘ Dil de Mehrama’ is outstanding. Rest of the songs are also good. Background specially the signature for Ravinder is class.
Final Words : On the whole, ‘Aatishbaazi Ishq’ an excellent movie which gives you more than 2 hours of sheer entertainment. It`s the beginning of next generation punjabi cinema. Must watch!
