New Punjabi film titled ‘London Singhs – Proud To Be Sikh III’ was released this year. This feature film is made under the banner of Shan E Khalsa Productions which is handled by Manjot Singh who delivered last 2 films ‘Proud To Be Sikh 1 & 2’, these films have received much appreciation by the audience. Now it has won a big award by ‘New Jersey Indian & International Film Festival’ where the whole team of the film honoured.
London Singhs is leading by Harwinder Singh and alongside him Gursimran Kaur and Upinder Randhawa will be seen. Talking about Harwinder Singh, he has been working for them before as well. He has done role in Virsa, Punjabi film ‘2 Bol’, Bollywood film ‘Manmarziyaan’ and ‘Saragarhi’. The movie ‘London Singhs’ is inspired by true events, based on the life of two UK-based Sikh kids who are living happily. Both are brought up in a rich Sikh culture. And, the plot of the film revolves around both of them as they will face some problems and then they will come out of it, how and when this will be revealed after it’s release. ‘London Singhs’ is based upon the allegiance to basic human rights, to allow everybody to practice their religion freely.
It is such a proud moment for all the punjabi’s that this film has been given award at this festival. We hope people give keep giving love to punjabi films and production houses will maintain this league of presenting good film for the audience.
