Dev Kharaud hails from Patiala, Punjab. He did his graduation and graduating, started doing theatre under the guidance of Mr. Rajesh Sharma and Late. Balraj Pandit. And according to Dev, “ Theatre is a learning experience for every actor, it is a place where you can enhance your skills, as most of the Punjabi Actors carry a theatre background with them”. He has acted from being a kid to being an old man, he has made people laugh and sob which makes him say confidently that “ Theatre helps in making you a versatile actor.”Dev Kharaud is a person who thinks that one should never forget his/her roots and the basics from where he/she starts rising as an actor or as a person also. Well, going forward, Dev has acted in number of TV Serials like, Agg De Kalire, Alhna, Jugnu Mast, Asan Hun Tur Jana, June 85, Koi Pathar Se Na Maare, Roop Basant and Khada Pita Barbad, spent quite a time doing TV serials.
And then as we sometimes say that, “ Have Patience, God Isn’t Finished Yet “, so the destiny had lot of happy showers in store for Dev, as he started his career in movies and did a Character role of name Harry in the movie, Hashar. And with this he acted in movies like Kabaddi Ik Mohabbat, Sada Haq, Saka-Nankana Sahib De Shaheed, Dulla Bhatti & Rupinder Gandhi The Gangster…? The most talked about movie of 2015.
Dev’s professional life got a big start with his role as Rupinder Gandhi in the blockbuster hit…Rupinder Gandhi The Gangster…? His fan following increased drastically, they started addressing him as Gandhi. And the reason behind this change was Dev Kharaud’s hard work, his research on the character as it was a biopic and he wanted to look real in the reel character he lived that character so nicely that we could see those too real expressions and
that honest dialogue delivery.And people loved Dev in this movie. He made people emotional and few of us cried also, which is being shared through a personal experience.
The Producers of Rupinder Gandhi The Gangster…?, promised that they will come up with the second part of the movie soon. And the good news is this, that the sequel of Rupinder Gandhi 2 The Robinhood is in the making. The first schedule of the shoot of the sequel is finished and the second schedule is going on in the suburbs of Punjab. We will see Dev Kaharud in a more polished character of Rupinder Gandhi. We are very sure the second part will also touch the sky scrapers and be a super duper hit movie of the Year 2017.
