Shruti made her mark in punjabi cinema with movie Mr and Mrs 420.Her Perfomance was much appreciated both by critics and audience.She also did Punjabi Movie Dil Vil Pyar Vyar (starring Gurdas Maan ). Apart from Punjabi films, she has also starred in South Films.After giving a great performance in Happy Go Lucky,Shrutii seems to be promising actress-All set to become the next big star of Punjabi cinema
Q 1 How did HAPPY GO LUCKY come your way?
Shruti – Happy go lucky was offered to me after they had heard about my work in Mr and Mrs 420.
Q 2 How was your experience working with renowned director Amarpreet Chabbra and A Renowned producer/director from Bollywood Harry Baweja ji ?
Shruti -My experience of working with Amarpreet Chhabra was very enriching. His vision is very clear and that helped in performing the deep emotions in a scene in a much better manner. Overall I learnt a lot as an actor under his captainship on the set. And Mr Harry baweja as a producer was a delight to work with.
Q 3 Any memorable moment you would like to share on the sets of Happy go lucky ?
Shruti- For me the entire shoot schedule of the film was memorable..from us coactors joking n eating together on the sets to hanging out together. In short each and every day:)
Q 4 .How do you find this character different from the previous projects u have done ??
Shruti- Playing Jas gave me a chance to play different emotions from romantic to extremely emotional to family bonding which I haven’t got to play in the same manner previously.
Q 5.While working with so many stars together in this movie, whom did you bond well? How has been the experience of working with other co-actors ?
Shruti- I had a good work equation with everyone but on a personal level my bonding was most with my onscreen sisters isha and Dakshita. Especially with Isha
Q 6 Is there anybody whom you look upto and has inspired in your acting career ?
Shruti- No one in particular as such but every good actor I come across I make sure I learn from his/her talent. Any actor who I see working hard and progressing inspires me.
Q 7 Share with us something about your family? Are they supportive about your being in this profession ?
Shruti- My parents have been supportive about everything I’ve done and decided to do in my life be it studying science and then philosophy or making a move from anchoring to acting. They have confidence in me as a person..and till the time I have my ethics in place they know I won’t do any wrong in general. They’re always with me.
Q 8 Dream role you would want to play?
Shruti- I have just started my career so right now every different kind of character from Mary kom to an extremely romantic or a rustic or a historical character on screen is a dream for me.
