Today we will know about a versatile actor, writer, screenplay writer and not to miss the dialogue creator also, who started his career from a very tender age where the kids love to go to school enjoy their life to the fullest.
We are talking about Gurjind Mann, who hails from Amritsar, did his schooling from a village called Raiya in Amritsar proceeded further and graduated from Sikh National College, from a city called Kadiyan, in Dist. Gurdaspur, Punjab.
Lets go more in details and depth about his professional experience. Well, it was a shock for me when i learnt that he started working when he was at a tender age and mere eight years old. And in this age only he somehow had that niche to write also.
He worked as a spot boy in a Production house for complete ten years. What patience man! This is the age when the kids have lot of excuses to miss the school and not studying so much. But Gurjind Mann, started his career. Commendable personality, I must admit. And I am pretty sure he must be so very enthusiastic to become something in life because when somebody starts doing things so early in life it means his passion to be famous in life is very strong.
As the time passed by, his dreams and enthusiasm also increased. Gurjind read few religious books like Bible, Quran Sharif, Geeta, Dasham Granth Sahab and some part of Granth Sahab too which is so much appreciable because we actually don’t find such people who carry that zeal to read the religious books.
He got the chance of working as an Assistant Director in few songs and films. As we know that he was fond of writing since long and as we say that, when you have that strong will power to prove yourself the god will definitely help you, and I will not stop myself by saying this that, “Where there is a will, there is always a way”, and this is a hard fact of life. Same way, Gurjind also got a chance to write a film called, “Yamla Jatt Yamla”, which was directed by Savy Dadwal.
After meeting him and talking to him, I came to know that he is a kind of a person who loves facts and truth of life, and as said by him that there are so many things or incidents which happen in life and they can be shown but in a limited time span and wants the audience also to know the hard core facts of life, which forced him to write a short movie called “Wandd”, he wrote the screenplay and the dialogues too for this movie. And this movie got lot of popularity among audience. He has written two more short movies, like “Baari” and “Nokia 1100” which will be releasing soon.
Then came an opportunity to write a feature film called, “Once Upon a time in Amritsar”, he wrote the screenplay and the dialogues and also acted in the movie. The audience liked the concept of the movie a lot. The movie was talked about a lot.
At this point in time, Gurjind Mann, is busy shooting for another Punjabi movie, “Punjabb Singh”, and is playing a lead role as Punjabb Singh himself. Again the Screenplay and the dialogues are also written by him only. And I am sure that he is going to rock through this movie.
