Movie Review : Gaddar is a story of jay singh about the happenings he faced in past & how he overcome from that.
Direction & technicals : After ” Haani ” director amitoj Maan tried again different subject on silver screen. If you look at his his earlier directed movies like ‘ Kaafila ‘ , ‘ Haani ‘ then you will notice that way to present movie on screen is almost same.A movie more than 130 minutes of duration & you will not give some relaxation to mind of audience then it will like you are torching them.Same has happen in this movie. The director of a film is the creator and he should be able to make a film so interesting that the audience is riveted to what is happening on the screen. Director Amitoj mann who is otherwise talented has not been able to do this and the movie is boring in many places.
You can easily see camera shaking moments specially in canada shoot.
Star Performances : Harbhajan Mann is a commendable actor. He can act he had prove this in his earlier movies. In this movie he is ok but dialogue delivery with laughing sounds weird.Leading lady Manpreet Grewal has no charm & without expression.More can say a dull debut on screen by him.Even director has given her much space on screen. In short role amitoj mann is excellent. The movie has three notable roles Ashish duggal, girija shankar & balkaran wadding has done extremely good job.Bobby sandhu also can act he has proved this in his earlier movie ‘ Bikkar Bai’ & also in this movie too.
The music by Jaidev Kumar & Dr. Zeus doesn’t have the texture or the appeal that he brings into his music.
All in all, For harbhajan mann fans, that should be good enough.
