Mouni Roy, an Indian actress, a former model and a Kathak dancer has just turned 35. Mouni is a very popular name in the TV and the Bollywood industry as she has worked both in TV serials and movies. She came into limelight with the TV shows, ‘Devon ke Dev…’Mahadev’, ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ and ‘Naagin’ where she entertained the viewers with her graceful and skillful acting. In 2014, the actress also appeared in a very popular dance reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa’ where she emerged as a finalist.

This Punjabi movie, a genre of romantic-action drama had Babbu Maan as the male lead alongside Mouni as the leading lady. The movie was helmed by Sukhwant Dhadda. The movie did quite well at the box office, yet Mouni never looked back at the Punjabi movie industry , which is popularly called Pollywood.
