The Monday’s episode of Bigg Boss 14 turned out to be an unpleasant day for the fans of Sara Gurpal. The punjabi artist was the first contestant to be evicted from the reality show. For the unversed, The Toofani Seniors, Hina Khan, Gauahar Khan and Sidharth Shukla were asked to chose one contestant from the nominated contestants to evict from the BB house. The seniors zeroed in on Sara Gurpal’s name. The contestants nominated for the eviction were Nishant Malkani, Rahul Vaidya, Shehnaz Deol, Sara Gurpal, Eijaz Khan, Jaan Kumar Sanu and Abhinav Shukla.
While Hina and Gauahar were confused between Nishant and Rahul, it was Sidharth who wanted Sara, who had just one vote against her, to be out.
However, the Toofani Seniors decision did not go down well with netizens, who took to microblogging site Twitter to express their disappointment. Fans of the punjabi singer described the decision as “unfair and “unethical”.
“We stand with Sara Gurpal,” said one irate Twitter user. While another, wrote “Sara Gurpal didn’t deserve this. Worst decision ever to eliminate Sara Gurpal.” Another user tweeted, “Innocence is no more respected, people love bullies who poke, shout, scream. This is the worst possible, most unfair eviction.”
Another tweet read, “Only #SidharthShuka wanted #SaraGurupal to go other two #GauharKhan and #HinaKhan didn’t want her to go But these two ladies are so spineless …They don’t have guts to stand against Shukla.”
Sara’s fans also requested the makers of the show to bring her back as a wild card contestant.
Needless to say, after watching Shehnaaz Kaur Gill and Himanshi Khurana’s stint as entertainers in BB13, the audience from punjab had huge expectations from Sara Gurpal.
