Soon after Punjabi superstar Ammy Virk came forward to help the families of martyrs from Punjab, another Punjabi star Ranjit Bawa extended his support to the bereaved families by donating Rs 2.5 lakh each.
Ranjit Bawa took to his official Instagram handle to announce that he will be donating Rs 2.5 lakh each to families of martyrs from Punjab. He wrote: “Phulwama Attack Vich jinne v shaeed hoye ona sab nu Kot Kot parnam 🙏🏻Ona pariwaran da ghata ko nahi poora kr skda But Main Apne wallon Ona apne Punjabi privaran Nu 2.50-2.50 lakh bhet krna chunda 🙏🏻Mainu pata ene nal ona da dukh ghatna nhi na ona nu honsla vadna 🙏🏻Bus eni k himmat bakhse waheguru 🙏🏻 es dukh Di Ghari vich shareek ho skiye 🙏🏻Waheguru sarbat da bhala 🙏🏻Jai Jawan.”
Earlier, ‘Qismat’ star Ammy announced that he will be donating Rs 2.5 lakh each to the families of those died in Pulwama terror attack. He wrote: “My heart goes out to loved ones of each and every military personnel. I have decided to donate Rs 10 lakhs to the families of fallen servicemen from Punjab who lost their lives in Pulwama attack.”
Earlier, over 40 Indian soldiers lost their lives after a vehicle carrying explosives rammed into a security convoy on the Jammu-Srinagar highway. Following the attack, almost entire nation expressed anger and anguish over the cowardly attack and they demand strict action against those behind the attack.
