What makes for a recipe for a great film? A script like never before, a stellar cast and a director to knead this all into a beautiful film. The recently announced Saunkan Saunkane boasts of all this and much more.
Our beloved “Qismat” couple Ammy Virk and Sargun Mehta are back together but this time they aren’t alone, joining them is the “Brober Boli” fame Nimrat Khaira. This star studded film is being penned down by one of the most successful writers of Punjabi cinema, Ambardeep Singh, who has films like Angrej, Harjeeta, Laung Laachi and many more to his name. And the captain of the ship is none other than “Kala Shah Kala” and “Jhalle” fame Amarjit Singh Saron.
All these big names have already created a buzz amongst movie lovers and the film is all set for a theatrical release in the year 2021.
Ammy Virk’s last release Sufna was a hit and the audience has been craving his presence on screen ever since. But what’s better than seeing him with his most popular on screen lady love Sargun Mehta. Her last release was in 2019 and her absence from the big screen has been felt by movie lovers all over. And with Nimrat Khaira on board we can expect a spectacular music album from Saunkan Saunkane.
The director Amarjit Singh took to Facebook to announce the film. The film is being produced by Ambardeep Singh and Sargun Mehta along with NAAD Films and JRD Films. We wish and hope that the shooting begins soon because let’s admit it, we all want to sit in a dark cinema hall and laugh out loud and cry in silence while watching our favourite stars on the big screen.
