With the ever-growing scale of the Punjabi Film industry, there are a number of names adding to the list, Sunny Raj, Sarla Rani, Varun Arora and Santosh Subhash Thite are all set with their release āKali Jottaā under Neeru Bajwa Entertainment, U&I Films and VH Entertainment productions.Ā
Through these production houses, we have received many Punjabi hits like Koka, Paani Ch Madhaani, Laung Laachi 2, Maa Da Ladla etc. a reason to joy is that the filmmakers are delivering a great piece of art āKali Jottaā to the theatres on 3rd February. Vijay Kumar Arora helmed the romantic period-drama āKali Jottaā which features Satinder Sartaaj, Neeru Bajwa and Wamiqa Gabbi in prominent roles.Ā
Producer-actress Neeru Bajwa remarked of this rich, enchanted love story, āI have always been a massive admirer of Punjabi culture and language, as everyone has been able to see through my work. Iāve always made an effort to honour my heritage. Even if my early interest in the workforce flourished, becoming a producer has deepened my connection to it.
Commenting on the film, producer Sarla Rani said, āIām thrilled to be associated with the movie āKali Jotta,ā which explores a serious female subject. Working as a producer on a movie with such a dedicated star cast was quite challenging and a great opportunityĀ for me. Working has even further elevated my spirits.ā
