Zomato, the popular food ordering and delivery platform, has made history by setting a Guinness World Record for conducting the largest first aid lesson at a single venue. This monumental event was held at Nesco, Goregaon, in Mumbai.

Over 4300 dedicated delivery partners gathered under one roof, making it the world’s largest on-ground first-aid training program ever conducted. The event was a part of Zomato’s initiative to provide first-aid training to its delivery partners.

Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal proudly shared the news on social media, expressing his gratitude to these newly minted “Emergency Heroes of India.” He posted about the first aid record, stating that over 30,000 Zomato delivery partners are now professionally trained to provide medical aid and help during critical roadside emergencies.

The training program covered essential first-aid techniques and CPR, empowering partners to respond to emergencies on the road. This initiative underscores Zomato’s commitment to prioritizing their partners’ safety and well-being.

Alongside the event, Zomato selected five delivery agents who will work closely with the Zomato team for two months at its Gurugram headquarters. These selected delivery partners will share their ideas with the Zomato team to co-create enhanced services and offerings for the benefit of the larger delivery partner community.

This record-setting event is a testament to Zomato’s dedication to ensuring the well-being of both delivery professionals and the communities they serve. With over 30,000 delivery personnel now equipped with valuable first-aid knowledge, Zomato is taking a positive step toward safety.

In conclusion, Zomato’s Guinness World Record for the largest first aid lesson is not just a milestone but a reflection of the company’s commitment to its delivery partners. It’s a reminder that every step taken toward safety and well-being can make a significant difference.
