Wamiqa Gabbi has been appreciated for her acting not only in the Punjabi film industry but also in the south and the Bollywood for whatever work she has done till date.
The actress has now made it big with signing two back to back projects with Netflix. One of them being Mai and this one where she replaced actress Mrunal Thakur from the prequel of Baahubali, which was under Netflix.
According to sources the prequel revolves around the life of the character Sivagami, which was played by Ramya Krishnan in the movie. Wamiqa Gabbi will be seen playing the role of young Sivagami which was earlier taken by Mrunal Thakur.
Sources also reveal that this switch has taken place due to the unavailability of shooting dates with Mrunal.
Well whatever the scenario may be, it surely is a great deal for Wamiqa. This can surely be her big break as the Baabubali series has been the Mega Blockbusters of the industry.
