Harry Bhatti’s third movie entitled ‘Aate di Chidi’ is about to hit the silver screen this Dusshera, that is, on October 19. The earlier two movies of Harry Bhatti were ‘Rabb da Radio’ and ‘Sardar Mohammad’ which were released in year 2017. Quite hopefully, the movie’s release on a festive weekend will enable to augment its box- office numbers.
The male lead in the movie is Amrit Maan who made his debut in acting last year through the film ‘Channa Mereya’ directed by Pankaj Batra. ‘Aate di Chidi’ will portray Maan in a lead role for the first time ever. Opposite to Maan, the female lead role is Neeru Bajwa. Other characters in the movie are being played by actors such as Sardar Sohi, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Karamjit Anmol, Nisha Bano, B.N. Sharma, Anmol Verma, Harby Sanga and Nirmal Rishi.
‘Aate di Chidi’ is going to be a portrayal of Punjabi culture, its values and traditions. It portrays how NRIs who come back to their homeland realise their forgotten Punjabi tradition and set of morals especially those related to their family. The trailer depicts the actual story of Punjab’s present situation in terms of its culture and values, and hence it surely does have the potential to strike into the heads of the audience not only critically but also commercially.
Quite undoubtedly, the concept of the movie is not obviously a new one. However, there is no denying fact that the content specific to this movie and the writer and director’s intentions can only be figured out after watching the movie.Starting at now, the mix of an able star cast, a need of great importance idea and an artfulness executive is all in likeliness to look presentable for the film.
