Surinder Shinda was born on 20th May 1953 in village village Chhoti Ayali district Ludhiana. His real name is Surinder Pal Dhammi. He took the name Surinder Shinda before entering the singing field and became famous with this name. His mother is Vidyavati and father Ustad Mistry Bachan Ram.
