‘Posti’ will talk about a serious subject in a different way

Punjab is considered the drug capital of the country considering the number of youngsters who become the victims of drug abuse. To put this grave problem under the limelight, there is a forthcoming Punjabi film which will discuss
this issue. The film is ‘Posti’. The film talks about drug abuse and aims to educate the masses about this increasing problem through romance, comedy, friendship and heartbreak. These elements make it a family drama film.

The film is being presented by Humble Motion Pictures. The film is a multi starrer which will feature some of the top names of the Punjabi entertainment industry. These names are Babbal Rai , Surilie Gautam , Prince KJ Singh , Rana Ranbir , Vadda Grewal , Raghveer Boli , Jass Dhillon , Malkeet Rauni , Rana Jung Bahadur , Tarsem Paul , Seema Kaushal.

Rana Ranbir, the famous writer, director and actor of the Punjabi fraternity has written and directed the forthcoming film. ‘Posti’ is produced by Gippy Grewal and Ravneet Kaur Grewal. Screenplay and the dialogues of the film have been penned by Rana Ranbir. The upcoming film has been co-produced by Bhana La and Vinod Aswal.

Talking about the film director and writer Rana Ranbir said, “The movie talks about the increasing problem of drug abuse in Punjab. In these modern times, it is extremely important for the youth to understand that it is never right to put the future at stake just to enjoy a moment of high. I hope the masses like and understand the subject.”

“I have worked with Rana Ranbir for different films with diverse subjects. But ‘Posti’ is a subject that needed to be discussed openly and give the reality check to the viewers. The entire cast and the team have worked extremely hard for the film and I am really looking forward to what the masses think about the film,” said Gippy Grewal, the producer of the film.

Worldwide distribution of ‘Posti’ is being done by Munish Sahni’s Omjee Group Studios.

‘Posti’ will hit the theatres on 20th March 2020
