Rhythm Boyz Entertainment’s Chal Mera Putt has been released worldwide today. The film is directed by Janjot Singh and is starring Amrinder Gill and Simi Chahal in lead. The film has gone for something never happened in Punjabi Industry by introducing Pakistani stage comedians Iftikhar Thakur, Nasir Chinyoti and Akram Udas. This triangle of comedians acted very well in the movie and proved that they are not just stage artists. In addition to the cast Hardeep Gill and Gurshabad did justice to their roles. Gurshabad’s acting in the film was quite natural and so was Hardeep Gill as a mature person migrated to UK. The direction of the film was justifying the good work done by Janjot Singh.
The film revolves around the story of different people of India and Pakistan who had migrated to UK and were living illegally. Everyone is hunting for a job but due to illegal docs, they could not get a permanent job and had to settle for a daily wage. The film also reveals that people take loans to migrate to the country and then had to undergo many circumstances after they reach. Undoubtedly after such a flavoured star cast the film was loaded with punches, but there were many emotional scenes which were then covered up with good comic timings.
On the other hand, Amrinder Gill and Simi Chahal’s cute yet sweet romance added another star to the film. Simi Chalal was seen in her same old style of talking in a cute way and her delightful appearance in the female lead was adored by the audiences, whereas Amrinder Gill this time appeared majorly with beautiful dialogues delivery and punch timings.
The music in the film majorly had Amrinder Gill’s voice which had a different yet sweet connection with audience. The film gave an important message at the end about the friendship and love between the two countries which was appreciated with an applause.
For a unique concept in the comedy genre and a message given at the end we would like to give 4/5 stars to Chal Mera Putt.
