Punjabi singer Karan Aujla is once again at the center of a controversy. Recently, Canadian rapper Ms Gori claimed that she was in a secret relationship with Karan, despite the singer being married to Palak Aujla.
While Karan chose not to respond publicly to the allegations, actress Parul Gulati, who is also a fan, stepped forward to defend him. Now, Ms Gori has issued a strong reply to Parul’s remarks.
Ms Gori took to Instagram and reshared Parul Gulati’s video in which she defended Karan Aujla. Along with the clip, the rapper posted a note that seemed to be a direct response to Parul’s statements.
In her note, Ms Gori highlighted how women are often criticised and judged when they speak up. She wrote:
“This is why women don’t speak up because people think that they can judge what they don’t understand. They jump to shame a woman for coming forward. This is actually teaching me so much about what as a community around the world we need to stand up for.”
Earlier, Parul Gulati shared a video on Instagram defending Karan. She began by explaining that although she didn’t know him personally, she was a big fan—thanks to her boyfriend, who introduced her to Karan’s music.
Parul said:“I have been an Aujla paglu. I know all his songs and lyrics.”She went on to describe a moment when Karan noticed her in public and waved. Excited, she asked her friend to secretly record the interaction as a cherished memory.
However, she later noticed that Karan had unfollowed her on social media. Initially confused, Parul said she eventually realized the reason behind it.
She explained:“Karan would do anything to keep his wife, Palak, happy and secure.”Parul also called out Ms Gori for claiming she was unaware that Karan was married. Finally, Parul praised Karan’s character and referred to him as a “green flag.”
