Chandigarh, 22nd August 2023: In the forthcoming Punjabi cinematic masterpiece “Mastaney,” the characters portrayed by Honey Mattu and Baninder Bunny stand as pillars of strength and a symbol of courage. Their characters witness a journey from ordinary men to extraordinary warriors.
Honey Mattu’s character ‘Zulfi’ resonates with relentless determination and dedication. With conviction burning in his eyes, He portrays a figure who challenges societal norms and fights against injustices inflicted upon women and oppressed sections of society. His nuanced portrayal brings to life a character who serves as an inspiration for change.
In contrast, Baninder Bunny weaves the essence of compassion and resilience. His character ‘Feena’ reflects the indispensable need for unity in times of atrocities. Baninder Bunny’s embodiment of unwavering loyalty towards his fellow characters, especially Zahoor, amplifies the film’s message of collective strength in the face of adversity.

Presented by Vehli Janta Films and Omjee’s Cine World, “Mastaney” is a collaborative project produced by Manpreet Johal and Aashu Munish Sahni. The film is written and directed by the brilliant Sharan Art.
