One of the most awaited movie this year has to be Diljit Dosanjh and Amrinder Gill starrer Jodi. The makers have now scheduled its release for 24th June 2021 through omjee star studios. Jodi is written and directed by Amberdeep Singh and is produced by rhythm Boyz Entertainment & Dalmora Films.
We would also see Nimrat Khaira opposite Diljit Dosanjh in this movie. Earlier than this we saw Diljit and Amrinder Gill in Dheeraj Rattan’s Saadi Love Story in the year 2013. Since then the two of them have done great work in their kind of cinema. But with this one,
we would see two megastars of the industry coming together.
An insider also tells that the movie is highly inspired from the life of Amar Singh Chamkila and Amarjot. Though this one is not a Biopic but the movie takes inspiration from their life.
Also the interesting thing about the release date is that, this week works well for Dijit Dosanjh since years. May it be his Jatt and Juliet series or his Sardaar ji series all of these movies have released in the last week of June which stands quite lucky for him.
