Taking Punjabi cinema forward in the right direction and in the right definition, Mainland Films and Mainsite Pictures presentation produced by Param Sidhu, Guri Pandher and Sukhi Dhillon recently released a film Balle O Chalak Sajjna receiving a much deserved positive response in cinema houses directed by Royal Singh.
The plot talks about the fuss that society intentionally implies in the lives of two brothers, Varyam and Hakam who get married to two real sisters, Lalli and Channi. The makers of the film came with an extraordinary story and content which is in fact the reality of the majority of households.
The life of the two couples is blissful until an outsider successfully implants a confusion in their relationships. And in this fuss, other characters of the film make a vital role wherein some like Nirmal Rishi, Raj Dhaliwal nd Sukhwinder Raj help in the betterment while the others, Gurpreet Toti (writer and actor), Parkash Gadhu, John Masih make the story more dramatic and theatrical.
The cinema has been a source of great entertainment since its existence but when meaningful content like this film is added, there could be nothing better than this. The story of the film not only portrays the life of two brothers but also reflects the reality check for many who have faced such confusion in their personal lives.
That’s not all, the makers have promised to bring more realistic stories of this kind that will help the audience jump into the reality of life and relationships that will make their lives worth living.
