Trailer review; Sam Bahadur: A Tribute to a National Hero

The much-anticipated trailer for Vicky Kaushal’s latest movie, “Sam Bahadur,” has been released today. The film, directed by Meghna Gulzar, is set against the backdrop of the 1971 Indo-Pakistani War. The actor again travels the road neatly with his forthcoming film, SAMबहादुर, a biopic on one of the most promising soldiers of the Indian Army, Sam Manekshaw, who played a vital role in the unforgettable war between India and Pakistan back in 1971.

The film features Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, who led the Indian Army from the front, leading to the creation of Bangladesh. The film is a tribute to his bravery and wit. The teaser, released last month, shows Vicky Kaushal in the role of Sam Manekshaw.

The film also stars Sanya Malhotra, who will portray Sam Manekshaw’s wife, Sillo, and Fatima Sana Shaikh as Indira Gandhi. Other notable actors include Neeraj Kabi, Edward Sonnenblick, and Zeeshan Ayyub.

The film is scheduled for release on December 1, 2023, and it clashes with Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming movie, “Animal. The biographical war drama is co-written by Meghna Gulzar, Bhavani Iyer, and Shantanu Srivastava and produced by Ronnie Screwvala under the banner of RSVP Movies.
