So finally the most promoted movie on Radio as well as social media is released today with a bang. Undoubtedly we are talking about Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa starring MUKLAWA. Along with them everyone including Karamjit Anmol,Gurpreet Bhangu,BN Sharma and various other artists played a tremendous role of their own. MUKLAWA is a periodic film written by Raju Verma and directed by SIMERJIT SINGH who had worked with the lead couple also in Nikka Zaildar series. The film starts with explaining MUKLAWA, an earlier tradition of Punjab with some funny touch of all the artists.
The film starts when (Shinda) Ammy Virk is married to Preeto (Sonam Bajwa) and his brother is married to elder sister of Preeto. Preeto’s Muklawa with Ammy Virk is postponed for some necessary collection of things like ornaments etc. therefore Ammy Virk cannot digest the fact that his wife is not going to stay with him and he was not even allowed to meet her or even see her face. But like a pure Punjabi, he’s all set to do every effort he can do along with his partner in crime Karamjit Anmol and BN Sharma.
How he manages to do these tasks and was he able to succeed or not? This is what the whole movie describes. The film has been made a little spicy by adding some different flavours of songs sung by Ammy Virk as well as Karamjit Anmol.
The film has been able to gather appreciation from audience in the middle and older age groups. Moreover, youngsters need to be slight patient as the film is only and only about MUKLAWA ceremony of Punjab. For an amazing hard work done by the whole team, Punjabi Grooves would like to give 4.5 stars out of 5.
