Sonu Sood has worked with biggies like Akshay Kumar, Hrithik Roshan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and others in Bollywood. Not just that he has proved his mettle as an actor in also the south industry including Tamil, Telugu and Kannada film industries. With movies opposite actors like Mahuesh Babu, Junior NTR, Chiranjeevi and Simbhu, he surely is a big name down south as well. The latest we hear is that he is all set to be a part of the B-Town trend of biopics.
Apparently, a Punjab-based filmmaker has written a script based on the life of late Indian wrestler-turned-actor Dara Singh and has approached Sonu to play the lead role. If sources are to be believed, Sonu was approached by the filmmaker last week and the film will go on floors by the end of this year. A source informs, “Sonu seems interested in the project and has assured the makers that he will read the script and get back to them at the earliest. He needs to be convinced with the script after which he will take the final call.”
Sonu confirms the story saying, “Yes, I was recently approached with the idea of a biopic on Dara Singh. I will read the script, and take the final call.” Wethinks with his fantastic figure, it is perfect that he plays the famous wrestler onscreen. What do you think peeps?
