The search for Himesh Reshammiya’s leading lady for his upcoming next, Heeriye has finally come to an end. We have learnt that newbie Punjabi actress Vishakha Thakur has been signed on as Himesh’s leading lady. Vishakha hails from Himachal Pradesh and has just set her foot in the Punjabi film industry. The 22- year-old has reportedly worked with Punjabi singers like Diljit Dosanjh, Ammy Virk, Roshan Prince, Preet Harpal, Lakhwinder Wadali, Kulbir Jhinjir, Rai Jujhar, Prabh Gurdas.
The film, to be helmed by Vishal Mishra, is being billed as a love story with a social message. The movie will have Himesh’s trademark romantic numbers. The trailer of Heeriye will be attached and released with Jazbaa.
